Use this worksheet to record the geometry behind concrete volume measurements. The concrete quantity schedule is the summary for grouped items; this worksheet retains the element dimensions used to produce those quantities.
Record the element geometry
For a rectangular element, record its count, length and width in feet and depth in inches. The dimensional volume in cubic yards is count x length x width x (depth / 12) / 27. Use the project's actual dimensions, identify the drawing reference and keep units consistent. Tapered, curved or irregular elements require their own supported geometry rather than the rectangular formula.
Separate volume from other scope
Do not infer reinforcement weight or form contact area from concrete volume. Track those as separate items with their own detail and unit basis. Identify slab zones, thickened sections, pits and openings so overlapping elements are not counted twice. Keep any contractor-selected ordering allowance separate from the measured net volume.
Review before summarizing
The downloadable CSV has blank input/result columns and no automatic formulas. Enter and independently check any calculations in your working copy. Reconcile counts and dimensions with the current structural issue before transferring accepted quantities to the BOQ schedule.
